Finding Contentment

Many associate contentment with happiness, comfort and satisfaction. Yet headlines frequently reveal that wealth and misery go hand in hand. In Philippians, Paul helps us to understand why contentment eludes so many and how in Christ we can be content whatever the circumstances.

Come and join us as Sian and Linda take us through Philippians and as we look at this subject of Contentment

Sian Baker is married to Peter, the Minister at Lansdowne Church in Bournemouth. She has 2 daughters and is thoroughly enjoying her relatively new role as a grandmother! With a background in media, she worked part time as a radio producer at BBC Wales for many years, but more recently has been part of the staff at the church. She appreciates a good book, great music and a long walk on the beach!

Linda Allcock lives in Central London, with four energetic boys…one of them her husband, Jonty! Jonty is pastor of the Globe Church, and Linda loves working alongside him in that. She also enjoys cooking, (and eating), teaching the Bible, writing, and working in a local creative arts space.
