The 2019 programme
This year’s programme has the theme of living a Godly life. Please cast your eye over the forthcoming subjects and see what might particularly help you. We hope they all will contribute something to each of us as individuals, but also to the churches of which we’re a part. Included in the series is a look at the Bible book of Proverbs, and a historical look at the spread of the gospel in Asia through the preaching of John Sung. We’ll also consider how the idol of comfort keeps us from living lives which are effective in bringing the gospel to ordinary working folk and also be challenged about living holy lives under a God who is sovereign over the whole of life, including our individual ones. All sessions will include application for us in our situation.

One major change with this year’s programme is that only three seminars are on a Monday, our usual day, and the other two are on Wednesdays. So please check those days before coming along—we wouldn’t want you to miss one you wish to attend.
The change of some seminars to Wednesday was made to allow us to get the speakers we wanted. However, it may also mean that some of you who couldn’t attend on a Monday will be able to get to a midweek seminar.
We hope that these sessions will be a stimulus to live out our own lives in a more godly and wise way, and that they will also give us, as church members, a sharper focus on our corporate life together.
£10 per person payable on the day – you can simply arrive on the day, but we do appreciate you notifying us that you’re attending. This is helpful for catering purposes. To let us know you’re coming, please contact Mike Peach (see details below).
Who is it for?
Everyone is welcome. These seminars are designed to be accessible to all. So, if you’re keen to grow, to think outside the box at times, and keen to know God better, then our hope is that you will benefit from this programme. Come along and join us!
Please pass these details on to anyone else who you think might benefit.
